Kraken now supports Bitcoin Taproot addresses

ChainCatcher news, Kraken has announced support for withdrawals to Taproot (Bech32m) Bitcoin addresses. Taproot is an upgrade to the Bitcoin protocol. It is reported that Taproot includes three proposals: Schnorr, Taproot, and Tapscript, which respectively provide key aggregation, Merklized Alternative Script Trees (MAST), and an improved version of the Bitcoin scripting programming language.
