Zhao Changpeng: The VC that once sued Binance is now an LP of Binance Labs' second fund

ChainCatcher news, Binance founder CZ published a six-year anniversary open letter, in which he stated that Binance's growth has not been smooth sailing. Previously, a potential venture capital firm filed a lawsuit against us. This lawsuit lasted for several years, and we ultimately achieved a complete victory. Years after the lawsuit ended, at our invitation, this potential investment firm became a limited partner in the second fund of Binance Labs. I can happily say that to this day we maintain a good relationship with them, and most issues can be resolved.

It is reported that Sequoia Capital had previously filed a lawsuit against Zhao Changpeng in Hong Kong in 2018, accusing him of contacting IDG Capital during negotiations, violating the exclusivity agreement.
