Metis new proposal plans to migrate data availability to Ethereum and launch a sequencer pool

ChainCatcher message, Ethereum Layer2 network Metis's new proposal plans to migrate from the off-chain storage layer currently provided by Memo Labs to its original Optimistic Rollup format. This proposal aims to improve data availability and simplify its upcoming Metis sequencer pool.

Metis plans to become the first Layer2 network to decentralize its sequencer by launching an innovative sequencer pool to eliminate the single point of failure risk posed by a single sequencer. This migration may lead to transaction fees rising from the current minimum levels to be comparable with other L2 networks.
