ChainCatcher news, according to Whale Alert monitoring, around 7:02 AM Beijing time, 1 billion USDT (1,000,742,500 USD) was minted at Tether Treasury.

Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino stated that this 1 billion USDT is a replenishment of the inventory for the Tron network. This is an authorized but unissued transaction, meaning that this increase will be used for the next issuance requests and cross-chain exchange inventory.
