FTX expects the total value of assets available for distribution to creditors to be between 14.5 billion and 16.3 billion dollars

ChainCatcher news, FTX and its affiliated debtors have submitted a reorganization plan and disclosure statement to the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. The plan considers the centralized distribution of almost all assets related to FTX at the time of its collapse in November 2022 to customers and other creditors around the world, regardless of where those assets were located at that time.

FTX expects that the total value of the property collected, converted to cash, and available for distribution will be between $14.5 billion and $16.3 billion. This amount includes assets controlled by the Chapter 11 debtors as well as assets controlled by the joint official liquidators of FTX Digital Markets, Ltd. (Bahamas), the Bahamas Securities Commission, and the joint official liquidators of FTX Australia.

Additionally, the plan also considers reaching a subordinate arrangement with governmental creditors, allowing for interest payments at a maximum rate of 9% ("consensus rate") to major categories of customers and creditors from the start of the Chapter 11 case until the date of distribution. If the plan is approved by the bankruptcy court, the debtors expect that 98% of FTX creditors will receive approximately 118% of their allowed claim amounts within 60 days after the plan's effective date.
