Previously on May 20, BounceBit released its 2024 roadmap, which includes three main pillars: BounceBit Portal, BounceBit Chain, and BounceClub, each with a designated roadmap. The project's main direction focuses on CeDeFi Lego, building various CeDeFi products on-chain.

Additionally, the Web3 asset data platform RootData shows that BounceBit is building a BTC re-staking infrastructure to provide a foundational layer for different re-staking products, backed by regulatory custody from Mainnet Digital and Ceffu. BounceBit Chain is designed as a showcase for re-staking products within the BounceBit ecosystem, operating as a PoS Layer 1, where validators stake BTC and BounceBit's native token for security—this is a dual-token system that leverages the security of native Bitcoin and is fully compatible with EVM. Key ecosystem infrastructure such as cross-chain bridges and oracles is secured by re-staked BTC. Through an innovative CeFi + DeFi framework, BounceBit enables BTC holders to earn yields across multiple networks.
