MakerDAO: Will host the Spark tokenization competition, selected projects will receive $1 billion in liquidity support

ChainCatcher news, MakerDAO announced on social media the Spark Tokenization Grand Prix competition, aimed at tokenizing $1 billion of real-world assets and bringing them into MakerDAO. The competition is open to all innovators and issuers, with selected partners receiving up to $1 billion in liquidity support.

Applications will open on August 12, 2024, and will be judged by a panel including Phoenix Labs and Steakhouse Financial, with evaluation criteria including pricing, liquidity, and strategic alignment. Ultimately, MKR token holders will vote through governance to select the winners.
