Circle releases "Confidential ERC-20" white paper

This framework can transform standard ERC-20 tokens into privacy-protected versions, hiding account balances and transaction amounts through Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) technology, ensuring compliance while providing privacy protection for users.

The main features of the Confidential ERC-20 framework include: encrypted balances and transfer amounts, authorized view permissions, programmable transfer rules, etc., suitable for scenarios such as supply chain payments, payroll distribution, and peer-to-peer payments.
