Data: Base network's daily trading volume reached 2.3 billion USD, surpassing Ethereum mainnet for the first time

ChainCatcher news, the Base ecosystem DEX Aerodrome announced on platform X that, according to @dexscreener data, the daily trading volume on the Ethereum L2 network Base has surpassed that of the Ethereum mainnet for the first time, reaching $2.3 billion, while the latter's daily trading volume was $2.2 billion.

In addition, the WETH - USDC pool on Aerodrome currently exceeds the total of the top 6 WETH pools on the mainnet, reaching $698 million. The trading volume of the cbBTC pool on Aerodrome is nearly twice that of the trading volume of the top 4 BTC pools on the Ethereum mainnet.
