Cardano founder: Ethereum has three structural flaws that may make it difficult to survive in the next 10-15 years
ChainCatcher news, according to CryptoPotato, Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson stated during a Q&A session at an event on Wednesday that Ethereum may struggle to survive in the next 10-15 years.
Hoskinson pointed out three structural flaws in Ethereum: the flawed account model, the virtual machine, and the consensus model. He specifically criticized the "parasitic" nature of layer two network solutions, arguing that these networks do not address Ethereum's scalability issues and instead extract value from the main chain.
He compared Ethereum's situation to early innovators like Myspace and Blackberry, predicting that users will gradually migrate to other platforms, particularly Bitcoin's decentralized financial ecosystem.
