ZachXBT: Coinbase data breach hacker provokes on-chain, suspected of laundering $42.5 million

ChainCatcher news, according to ZachXBT, the hacker suspected of stealing Coinbase user data exchanged approximately $42.5 million in BTC for ETH through Thorchain and left a provocative message on-chain, with the transaction hash being 0x18c909a8438d94e88a434521ee9fc143c8777452fbecb09b034b8fd049d6477f.

Previously, the hacker obtained nearly 97,000 user information by bribing customer service. Coinbase refused to pay the $20 million ransom and offered a reward to track down their identity.
