Babylon completes mainnet upgrade, BABY annual inflation rate drops from 8% to 5.5%

Babylon announced that the mainnet upgrade has been successfully completed, two key adjustments to the BABY tokenomics have taken effect, and a convenient BTC staking extension feature has been added:

· Annual inflation rate decreased from 5.5% to 5.5%: 250 million fewer BABY tokens will be minted each year, achieving a more sustainable token economy.

· Introduction of co-staking: Users who stake both BTC and BABY simultaneously can earn higher rewards than staking individually.

· BTC staking extension feature: Allows BTC stakers to extend the time lock of their existing stake without needing to unlock it.
