Tether supports Rumble in launching cryptocurrency tipping feature and also introduces Rumble Wallet

The CEO of video platform Rumble, Chris Pavlovski, tweeted that the Tether-supported video sharing platform Rumble now supports tipping with BTC, XAUT, and USDT. Currently, the testing is only open to Android users and is limited to a few thousand participants. Meanwhile, Rumble Wallet has been launched.

Rumble announced in December 2024 that it had reached a final agreement with Tether to receive a strategic investment of $775 million. As part of the deal, Tether purchased 103,333,333 shares of Rumble Class A common stock at a price of $7.50 per share, totaling $775 million. Of this, $250 million will be used for growth plans, including attracting more content creators, strategic acquisitions, and enhancing Rumble Cloud's technological infrastructure.
