The Federal Reserve expects to lower the federal funds rate to a range of 3.25%-3.5% in 2026
According to Jinshi reports, a Reuters survey shows that out of 100 economists, 50 expect the Federal Reserve to lower the federal funds rate to a range of 3.25%-3.5% in the first quarter of 2026; another 89 economists indicated that the Federal Reserve is expected to cut the federal funds rate by 25 basis points to a range of 3.5%-3.75% on December 10.
