Franklin Templeton launches tokenized ETF, enabling 24/7 cryptocurrency wallet trading

According to Bloomberg, Franklin Templeton announced a partnership with Ondo Finance to launch tokenized ETFs that can be traded directly in cryptocurrency wallets, enabling 24/7 trading and breaking through the limitations of traditional brokerage accounts and trading hours.

The product covers asset classes such as U.S. stocks, fixed income, and gold, and will initially be launched in Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and Latin America. The launch in the U.S. market still depends on further clarification from regulators regarding on-chain distribution of registered funds.
