U.S. stocks opened, the Dow slightly rose, and NXP Semiconductors increased by 21.7%

According to Gate market data, at the opening of the US stock market, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose by 0.04%, the S&P 500 index fell by 0.07%, and the Nasdaq Composite Index fell by 0.28%. NXP Semiconductors (NXPI.O) rose by 21.7% due to its strong second-quarter earnings guidance. As a result, ON Semiconductor (ON.O) rose by 6.4%, and Microchip Technology (MCHP.O) rose by 4.8%. Silicon Motion (SIMO.O) rose by 35%, as its first-quarter performance and second-quarter guidance significantly exceeded expectations.
