The Humanity Foundation announced adjustments to the H token vesting plan and set a deadline, with some institutions publicly disclosing their choice to unlock at a discount immediately

The Humanity Foundation has recently made significant adjustments to the $H token allocation plan, requiring investors to make a final choice between two options by April 26 at 09:00 UTC: one, extend the distribution, pushing the Cliff to September 25, 2026, and changing to equal distribution over 12 quarters; two, a 3:10 discounted immediate unlock, replacing the original 16,666,666 tokens with 5,000,000 $H (a 70% reduction), to be fully distributed on June 25, 2026.It is understood that the Humanity Foundation has sent adjustment notifications to over 100 investors. Early investment firm Trix Ventures has publicly disclosed its choice of the discounted immediate unlock. It is reported that this firm invested during the project's valuation phase of approximately $60 million, and even after the 3:10 discounted replacement, it can still achieve about 7 times return. Notably, the Humanity Protocol previously reached an in-depth cooperation with payment giant Mastercard, and the project's fundamentals have received endorsement from traditional financial institutions. The on-chain identity verification sector it belongs to is currently in its early market stage, but with the continuous expansion of AI-generated content and automated accounts, the demand for on-chain real identity verification is widely believed to grow exponentially, giving this sector long-term potential to become a leading project in the Web3 infrastructure field. The project is about to face a test of significant selling pressure from a one-time massive unlock, and whether it can grow explosively alongside the AI sector is crucial. Analysts point out that choosing the one-time unlock on June 25 is a safer decision. In the current market cycle, "certain liquidity" far outweighs paper numbers. The deferred plan extends the cycle to 3 years, with huge uncertainties regarding the protocol's survival and team stability. From a market structure perspective, June 25 faces obvious concentrated selling pressure risks: the Sablier contract release node is transparent on-chain, and quantitative and short-selling funds will precisely target this node; institutions may lock in profits by hedging in advance during the two-month window; market makers may withdraw buy depth in advance, causing the actual realization value to be less than 10% of the nominal value. Historically, large-scale concentrated unlocks of Starknet (STRK) and ApeCoin (APE) have triggered severe selling pressure, with the former dropping over 95% from its peak and the latter declining 77% within 7 months.

GMX is publicly recruiting a CEO, with a base salary plus token incentives for a total annual salary of up to approximately $700,000

GMX Labs has released a proposal for an upgrade to its leadership structure, which has been approved by DAO governance voting with 96.42% in favor. The proposal points out that as the team expands and competition in the perpetual DEX space intensifies, GMX Labs' early flat, founder-driven organizational structure is no longer sustainable and needs to transition to a clearer and more accountable traditional leadership structure. The proposal announces the introduction of a CEO through a public recruitment process, with candidates drawn from DeFi, CeFi, traditional finance, and the technology industry. The goal is to complete the recruitment and onboarding by April 2026, and to complete the organizational restructuring and submit a new contributor token allocation plan aligned with performance to the DAO by June. The CEO's responsibilities include setting the strategic direction for GMX Labs, establishing a functional leadership team, strengthening partnerships, and representing GMX Labs in industry events. In terms of compensation, the CEO's base salary will be between $150,000 and $200,000 per year, paid in stablecoins; performance incentives will be denominated in GMX tokens and directly linked to the growth of protocol fees, with the current annual protocol fee baseline being approximately $60 million. A 50% increase in fees will yield partial rewards, while a 100% increase to about $120 million will yield the full base reward pool of 40,000 GMX tokens. A 125% increase to about $135 million will additionally grant 10,000 GMX as a special reward. The GMX tokens received will also be adjusted by 0.5 to 1.5 times based on the 30-day average price of GMX, with an annual token compensation cap of 75,000 GMX. Of the performance rewards, 25% will be unlocked immediately upon meeting targets, while the remaining 75% will vest linearly over 24 months, with unvested portions forfeited upon early departure.During the transition period, an interim leadership committee composed of members X, Coin, B, and Kal will be responsible for maintaining operations, advancing the existing roadmap, and leading the search for the CEO.

Publicly listed Bitcoin mining companies have cumulatively sold over 15,000 Bitcoins since last year

According to Cointelegraph, publicly listed Bitcoin mining companies have sold over 15,000 Bitcoins since last year. The Mining Weekly newsletter from The Energy Mag pointed out that several large mining companies are the main participants in this sell-off, including Cango, which sold about 4,451 Bitcoins, approximately 60% of its holdings, in February; Bitdeer, which liquidated its entire Bitcoin inventory in January; Riot Platforms, which made multiple sales in December; and Core Scientific, which plans to sell about 2,500 Bitcoins in the first quarter. The largest listed mining company, MARA Holdings, stated in its latest regulatory filing that it may maintain flexibility and selectivity through buying and selling Bitcoins. This statement has attracted market attention, and the company's vice president clarified that the filing allows for flexible sales but does not imply that a significant portion of its holdings will be liquidated. MARA currently holds over 53,000 Bitcoins, making it the second-largest Bitcoin holder among publicly traded companies, behind Strategy. Analysts believe that as profit margins narrow and debt pressures increase, mining companies are being forced to reassess the holding strategies that were previously widely adopted. Earlier, Bloomberg reported that the AI boom has prompted Bitcoin mining companies, with holdings exceeding $8 billion, to transform, raising concerns about market sell-offs.
