DeFi community jointly writes to the SEC requesting the establishment of rules to clarify the regulatory framework

The DeFi Education Fund, along with Aave Labs, Uniswap Labs, Paradigm, Andreessen Horowitz, and other organizations, has sent a letter to the U.S. SEC in response to the recent statement released by the trading and markets division regarding the registration of "non-custodial user interface" brokers for crypto asset securities. The signatories support the statement that the "non-custodial user interface," which only provides a technical entry point and allows users to manage their assets independently, should be excluded from broker registration. They also urge the SEC to establish clearer and more sustainable definitions of "broker" through formal rulemaking, to avoid incorrectly categorizing neutral software tool providers, validators, RPC/API, oracles, cloud services, and other infrastructure under broker regulations. This would provide long-term legal certainty for blockchain infrastructure innovation while ensuring investor protection.Previously, the SEC's trading and markets division indicated that some DeFi trading interfaces do not need to register as brokers, allowing for policy space for related applications. Supporters believe that the new regulations could cover infrastructure participants such as validators, APIs, and oracles. Currently, the U.S. crypto market legislation, the CLARITY Act, is stalled in the Senate.

HTX Genesis Hackathon opens in Hong Kong, HTX DAO ambassador Molly reveals the panoramic view of the ecological matrix

The HTX Genesis Hackathon, hosted by HTX DAO and B.AI, and co-initiated by TinTinLand and OpenCity, has opened in Hong Kong. The opening event was lively, with increasing frequency of exchanges and interaction density, creating a high-intensity dialogue atmosphere among developers, investors, and ecosystem participants.HTX DAO ambassador Molly shared on the theme "HTX DAO Ecosystem Development Plan: Launch of a Multi-Million Dollar Ecological Fund and Value Closed-Loop Strategy." She pointed out that the core vision of the HTX Genesis Hackathon is to build a free financial port based on the exchange's hinterland. To achieve this goal, five major ecological matrices covering the entire industry chain have been constructed, including: Huobi HTX as the core business engine and liquidity center; HTX DAO serving as the governance hub and centralized decision-making brain of the ecosystem; public chains and innovation layers providing payment network support through TRON, and building a solid DeFi infrastructure with JustLend, SunX, etc.; HTX Ventures focusing on industry frontiers, providing investment, incubation, and acceleration services for outstanding projects; and B.AI aiming at future trends, dedicated to creating financial infrastructure for the AI Agent era.Molly further emphasized that regarding future development, Huobi HTX has clearly proposed four core strategic keywords: "stability, transparency, institutionalization, AI empowerment," aiming to enhance the platform's long-term competitiveness in a complex market environment and provide ecosystem participants with more certain growth expectations.

Arweave AO launches a network-available staking test program and initiates a gateway data service incentive mechanism

According to official news, the scalable blockchain network AO based on Arweave has announced the launch of the "Network Availability Staking Alpha (NASA)" testing program, which is a key step in its AO ecosystem aimed at enhancing the availability and reliability of decentralized data networks through a staking mechanism. The program is currently in the Alpha stage, and users can participate in network availability verification and earn rewards by providing data services for Arweave gateways and staking AO tokens. In the first pilot phase, AO introduces the "availability staking" mechanism, requiring node operators to stake 25 AO to participate in the network and compete for the speed and stability of responding to user requests. The system will allocate rewards from a monthly reward pool of 1000 AO based on the performance of nodes in data services. This mechanism relies on the next-generation HyperBEAM architecture, enabling higher levels of verifiability and trustlessness for gateway and routing services while significantly reducing operational costs. The project team stated that NASA aims to establish a stronger decentralized economic model for the entire permanent network infrastructure, paving the way for future expansion into areas such as computing scheduling, data indexing, and network services. Although the current reward scale is small and still in the testing phase, the program is seen as an important starting point for the AO-Core economic system and will gradually expand to more network infrastructure services in the future.
